Mom’s Favorite Pasta Recipe: Penne Pasta and Herbs

IMG_1321I’m super excited to share with you my first recipe post! This is the first of a series of homemade recipes that I plan share from my mom’s cookbook.

One of my fondest memories as a kid was helping my mom prepare delicious home cooked meals for the whole family to enjoy. She was passionate about cooking.  I remember her spending many hours  in the kitchen perfecting her recipes, and experimenting with new ingredients and cooking methods.

To help me heal from my grief, I decided to try some of the summer recipes from her collection, and talk about the process of making them. This is the first in a series of easy homemade recipes that I plan to write about in my Mom’s Recipe Page of my blog. I hope you enjoy!
